About Me

Professionally

I started my career in Ontario over 25 years ago in the IT and electronics industry, owning two sole proprietor businesses in Ontario and Alberta. I joined the Canadian Forces in 2001 and experienced the world in a whole new way. After several years of service and being stationed at multiple bases across Canada, I transitioned out of army life and back into IT and telecommunications in Calgary, Alberta.

I have been honored to receive the Microsoft Most Valuable Professional (MVP) award three times, in 2022, 2023, and 2024, recognizing my contributions to the tech community.

Today, I am an IT and cybersecurity professional specializing in IT infrastructure, cybersecurity research, penetration testing, and managed IT services. I serve as the Vice President of Technology for a Managed Service Provider, where I oversee cybersecurity strategy, IT support, and compliance. I am also actively involved in CISO-level security planning, ensuring businesses stay protected against evolving threats.
